Well I fixed it. I took a bolt and some epoxy. I used the epoxy to install the rubber stop on the head then I installed it in the place where the rubber stopper should go and adjusted the pedal with the bolt. Now the pedal stops even with the brake pedal. A clutch pedal adjustment was in order and a test drive.
