When I was running my little 440hp mouse motor in my 64 vette it would pound sparkplugs like eating candy. A buddy of mine who was running a strong 400 in his Vette told me to try the Autolites because they worked so well for him.I tried Autolite plugs and NEVER looked back. For me, they are superior to any other. I'm using Autolite AP605 plantinums in my vortec heads now. Of course thats just my experience, other plugs probably would have worked just as well but I'm not going to change as long as they work good for me.
