Last year I had estimates from $14,900 to $22,000 for a 28 by 30 garage.this was just for the slab and building.No insulation ,wiring,sheetrock ect. I hired 2 friends with experience and got a garage kit from Menards.In one weekend we had the structure and rafters up.Total cost on this was $6400 on top of the $2100 slab---plus beer.
I insulated- wired and sheetrocked for about another $1400
YES it was a lot of work----but still less than half of a couple of estimates.
I had a electrician friend from work check my work and he said there is nothing he would or could change
