Ozarkhippie is right. The trucks have straight frame rails and the hitch bolts to them. They use bolt on rear bumper brackets. The Suburban (and Blazer) have curved rear frame rails and use the end of the frame as the inside bumper mounts. The Blazer and Sub use different hithces as well. I bought a Drawtite Class IV hitch (600/6000 1100/11000 with load distributor) from a local dealer for $125 plus tax. Early Classics has receivers for all of the trucks that are "hidden" behind the license plate.
