will it be easier to replace the oil pan gasket if my front suspension is removed( to rebuild it with new bushings, etc)???

i figure it would be the best time to replace the gasket since its leaking, since i'll have so much extra room to move around under there.

also, i forgot but will i need to remove my timing chain cover to install a new gasket on the oil pan?
