Re: A/C in 64 Burb??
JWI, I'm running the factory air conditioning in my '65. It works great. The setup is alot like the aftermarket units in that it works on the inside temp and not a pressure switch. IMO it would be worth using if you have everything from the firewall and inside. I used '71-'72 Chevy truck A/C brackets on mine, bought a condenser setup aftermarket, and the compressor manifold from Kenny's. Had the A/C lines made up locally. American Classic has a good bit of stuff for the inside unit (cables, switches, relays, etc.) Do a little bit of research and see if getting all the things you need to make the factory A/C work outweighs the cost of an aftermarket unit. I just like the way the factory A/C looks. Good luck, and post some pictures of the Burb! Kevin
