I use garnet as well. I have a few different grits depending on what I need done. I was going to buy a Harbor Freight setup until I saw how easy it was to build one. So I just made it a bit larger, bought some replacement gloves, got some plexi out of the scrap bin at Applied Materials (free) and made my own. I think the total cost was about $130 and it works well.
