YES.....just got off the phone with DMV....they have no record of my truck. I got lucky cuz the lady said that she's seen vehicles stay in the system for over 10 years, but she thought they fell out after the 10 year mark.

And you guys are right....one time non op fee ($15 now).

AND YES.....this state sucks SO bad when it comes to all the BS fees!!!!!! Why the hell should reg fees be based on the value of the vehicle???

Scenario...

Guy sitting at a stoplight in his $220k lamborghini that maybe weighs 3500 lbs and probably had to pay +$20K for his registration.
Another guys pulls up in his 71 caddy 4 door that probably tips the scales at 3tons and he pays $40 a year for his registration!

Aren't reg fees typically used for roads?......which car above causes the most wear and tear?.....the guy in the Lambo drives with a light foot!

It is JACKED UP beyond repair and we are ALL along for the ride.
