well personally i don't use bondo brand filler at all becuase of its tendacy to crack break etc. what i do use is fiber hair you can get it at napa and it is green its eather made by 3m or martin senior i cant remember any how it gets alot harder than bondo and bonds to metal alot better, and the good part it sands and works just as easy as bondo only thing is that you need to where a good resperator while sanding cause it does have micro fiber glass in it. they also make fiber strand but it is harder to work and has long strands of fiberglass in it i dont recomend that, if you try the hair i think you will be impressed as i was and probably wont use bondo again. body supply stores also have filler made by evercoat that is aslo much better than bondo. im sure you wont have a problem as long as your hedders are not directly besid the bondo any how and if thats the case the paint is gonna suffer first. good luck
