If the guy knows what it's worth then he shouldn't have any problem putting a price on it. I think he's just trying to make you think he does so you don't try to lo-ball him.... I always tell them that it's hard for me to buy the truck and sell it too. Thats what you are doing if you name a price. Put a little pressure on him to price it and if you have to make him an offer start low. No matter where you start he will probably want to add two or three hundred to it..
