Hey everyone quick question.

I have a 74 K20 and I realized this weekend, when trying to remove the tailgate, that the RH trunnion is the style that is perfectly round, meaning the only way to remove the tailgate is to remove the trunnion as well (total PITA)

I bought a set (I thought) from LMC truck for my 73-74 but they're both round as well. LMC lists only one part number for both sides for my truck, but different numbers for the others.

My tailgate has the provision for the "elongated" style trunnion on the RH side which would make it much easier to remove, but when searching on ebay the only "elongated" style I see says it's only for 81-87. I found it here
