GM (dealers) had a MASTER PARTS CATALOG which listed parts available for variour vehicles at specific times. I believe there was one for trucks published about 1973. A newer one was printed early 80's(?). These did not list every part number but what parts were still available at that time. I purchased 1 from Evil-bay that covered 40 series trucks and up(my mistake).
