BB72: I'm in the same situation w/ the tank and qjet. Haven't bought a reproduction tank, but was looking in that direction. From the sounds of it, I may go your route and refurb my original tank. If you don't mind me asking, how much is this going to run you? I'd also be curious to know how much it would cost to have the qjet rebuilt, since I know nothing about this.
