i weighed the cost versus benefit on powdercoat versus por-15 or hammertite, and i'm going the por/hammertite route cuz i don't need the EXTRA corrosion protection that the snow belt guys need, and i don't deal with salt air as south louisiana and florida (to my knowledge) does. powder coat is durable and beautiful, but i opted out cuz i'm not gonna build a show ride and i'm not gonna clean the underside with a baby diaper. on the other hand, i'm not gonna drive it on any dirt roads (or dirt driveways for that matter either). so i guess it'll be a semi-creampuff.


oh yea, don't count out corrosless either (good sh**t)
