No it's not
Not when you're sitting still in traffic for an hour when it's humid and 98 degrees out and there's no breeze
When I lived in NY I never owned a vehicle with A/C, it was only "stupid hot" maybe one week a year. Here is SC, It can be "stupid hot" for like 4 months.
In SC A/C is not only a nice bonus, but a necessity
