I used all of the parts we pulled from the 73 except for the springs. The original on the truck were at least an inch lower so I kept them instead.

I have been reading some of the details about the other truck issues and I believe I may know what I am doing wrong. There was not a bleeder bolt on the proportioning valve and I just thought it was an extra port so I put a screw into it. This may be where my air is trapped. I did add a line coming off of the carb to the power brakes today. I was also amazed that the valve cover oil cap was missing its gasket so I purchased a new one of those and it really helped the truck run much better.
