Re: Hauling your truck

I've used uhaul trailers a few times, and have never had an issue. I've been towing long enough that I know exactly what my tow vehicle can and can't handle (don't ask about the latter ), so i play their little game and say i am towing an 80's chevette.

I pulled my 72 longbed (3-4" lowered), from Hesperia CA, to Mason City IA, last summer with no problem on a U-haul Flat bed. Then in October I used a U-haul dolly to pull it from Iowa to my home in MN. Now that was an experience. my buddy slid on some ice while leaving a parking lot, and ended up jack-knifing the dolly, which caused the trailer fender to smash to pieces as it went underneath the 72. but I paid them $30 for a new fender and all is good.
