I just picked up a 68 shortbed last night and towed it home with a uhaul dolly.
I pulled it with my 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee that is lifted 6" with 33" tires, 4.56 gears, and inline 6. Luckily the tow dolly's don't put much weight on the tung.
I took it out of OD and putted home at about 50....not much power for pulling with a 6 banger.
Oh, I told them I was pulling an 87 Subaru
They look similar right?
