I don`t agree at all.Can you be more specific and state why or what you mean?I lift my own trucks and I fully intend for them to be street driven.
Back to the subject....As stated by someone who knows,6" lift in front with 3" body lift is what you need for 40s,no less. That`s your main concern.Being level with rear? Can only guess.Once lift is on front, you`ll know.I don`t think it will be lower than the rear. That`s my guess. The rear can go lower than the front as far as body clearance goes.If the rear is too high, get shorter blocks or buy 6" springs. How many leafs are on the rear, now? Is there one that has different looking ends on it from the rest? That would be an add-a-leaf.What size blocks are on it?
What`s with Michigan? You have to put lowered bumpers on you trucks(not that unusually),then we have two newbies from there in a row coming on here with strong opinions against lifted trucks on the street. At least a third one (thread starter) likes lifted trucks and 40" tires. It doesn`t matter what I like.I do what I like and let others do what they like and keep my mouth shut. It`s also a rule here that if you don`t have anything to say, move on...Just like real life.
