Get it. I strongly recommend dumping a small amount of oil down each cylinder. I got a 72 t-bird that had been sitting around 10 years also, and dumped oil down, it, gave it fresh gas, and drove it home on the interstate. If it worked for a ford, it should work for a Chevy!
