Re: Can anyone decode my VIN please

Hello from Arkansas, and welcome to the "board".

With a small back window, and a 327, it sounds like you have a 1967. The CE part of the VIN says it is a half-ton, as we call them. The normal practice was to put leaf springs on the rear of GMC's, with coil springs as an option.

Inside your glove box door, there should be a decal affixed that will have two columns of characters on the left side of the column with a brief description of that item. For instance C60, U63, M49 are some of those letter/number combos you will find.

If you take a picture of that decal and attach it to one of your postings, we can tell you a lot more about your vehicle.
