[Dad's Truck]

Hi, everyone. I am new to this site. I live in the greater Cincinnati area - Northern Kentucky.

My father passed away last spring and I inherited his truck. (Hence my login name!) Its a 1968 Chevy stepside w/straight six and three-on-the-tree. He was the original owner. It was his work truck, and he drove it regularly until shortly before he died. It has spent every night of its life in the garage.

I don't have it yet, but I my plans are to get it looking like it did when Dad first got it. I also would like to make a few safety upgrades - shoulder belts, disk brakes and power steering. I plan to use it as a regular driver when finished.

I am an experienced Pontiac restorer - 68 GTO and 68 Firebird. I'll be looking for recommendations on the best places/vendors to find parts. I have learned to rely on the expertise of board members like these here, so I am looking forward to picking everyone's brain!
