I would think that with spray in bedliner would really keep the rust problem to a min, I know my cab corners rusted from the inside out, same with my rockers. I plan on putting it in my cab when I do the full resto thing, right up to the windshield under the dash, on the floor, right up back wall, you could even get it underneath the headliner and on the inside of the door skins, carpet on the floor and you won't know the diff. Could then use expanding foam inside the pillars, and you should have a really quiet ride, that is probably well insulated too. all this stuff would help keep out moisture too, and if you keep it painted, undercoated and clean your truck should last forever!
