I have a 71 Super and it has the scroll around the around the word SUPER it was put there by the factory. I talked to GMCPAUL and he said that it is not that uncommon for trucks built late in the production year to have the a few parts mixed in to complete production of those last few trucks before they start rolling out the next years models . IF that is GMCPAUL says you can take it to the bank the man knows his sh*t.
