I am going to try to make this simple....

I have a 70 truck with drums on it. 6 LUG.

If I put wheels on the truck prior to installing disc brakes will the fitment change when I go to install the brakes?

I was going to measure up everything and order a set of wheels..but am worried that when I convert to disc brakes that the settings may change, Is this correct. (or arer the rotors the same width as the drums?)
