The belt drives are not built for the street. Most are an open face setup for ease of adjusting which is fine for the track.. but for the street you'll have that belt torn to streads in no time. Timing belts designed for OHC engines are long enough and thick enough to withstand the pressures of daily driving.
I've got a set of "LOUD" gears in the 355 and I love 'em! The lope of the cam combined with the gears makes me want to find stop lights just to hear the symphony

. I'd admit though, I wouldn't use them on a daily driver unless you like to hear your engine. With the Gears and the Exhaust, I find myself feeling bad for the ppl trying to order in a drive through, so I shut it down each time the line moves LOL. As for what ppl think about how cool it is? Who gives a rats arse.. I built it for me not them.
