I applied mine over a year ago as a primer/sealer and it's held up very well - no chalking. Only learning curve (as a new guy) was ensuring coverage (I have a few thin spots
) and applying seam sealer, etc. as if it was a full paint job.
If it was mixed just as a primer, then it's completely permeable and you'll be seeing rust spots in a month or so
