Depending on pipe size, & tail pipe exit the dynomax turbos can be pretty quiet. I have run tailpipes straight out the back on a 2 1/4" system, & found them to be quiet. I run Hooker headers 2 1/2" pipe, w/ H pipe & 3" tailpipes (side exit ahead of the rear wheels). The Dynomax Superturbos have a nice deep sound setup this way......in fact , loud enough on the hyway with 4.10 gears that I may cut the tail pipe size to 2 1/2." The system really sounds off when the throttle is opened up.......yet running around town, the city cops havent hassled me about the exhaust. The magnaflows are a very nice muffler, & have a deeper sound than the Superturbos, but are a little pricey.
