My son and I installed an ACCEL HEI unit yesterday with new wires and plugs. Have it all set up except the 12 volt wire to the distributor. I know we have to change the old resistor wire. Can we connect a 12 guage wire to a small piece of the old wire at the firewall or do we have to run the new wire from the fuse block? We appreciate your help.
