At low RPMs and at idle, the Super Turbos have a nice deep rumble. At higher rpms, while cruising, they are quiet. However, when you "push the pedal the metal", you can really here the engine wind up. Flowmasters are just too "tingy" for my taste..... don't wanna sound like a 5.0 Mustang or IROC! I've got a 350 with 2.5" pipe, dumped in front of the axle. Full tailpipes would quiet it down even more.

I had Flowmasters on my '57 for a while and they got very annoying. Too much interior noise. If you've never had "loud" mufflers before, you might not like the Flowmasters. Just my opinion.

"Lost Wages" and "1971 Stepside" heard my truck run not too long ago. You might ask them what they thought about them.

"Justin" also has the Super Turbos and I think he really likes them too.
