I had to cut the frame on mine 6" to make it fit. I used a '97 C3500 pickup rearend. I was able to use factory bed mounts off the 1/2 ton truck on the 1 ton frame. It was a lot easier than I expected it to be. I had to drill a few holes and bolted the mounts in the front, and just had to drill holes for the 4 rear bed bolts.
