I`ve been running headers and dual exhaust on every 67-72 4wd I`ve owned and didn`t know there was supposed to be a problem doing it.I`ve never seen heat affect my t-case,the pipes run over the t-case crossmember/next to t-case/inside frame.I have pipes made with the offset needed and weld the header bell flanges on.I bolt those on with mufflers and drive to the custom exhaust shop.The exhaust guy pulls that off and starts bending using the pieces I had on the truck.
