You can grind rivet heads off all 4x4 shakels and knock out with punch.Parts are reuseable this way.Front is pretty much drill holes and bolt in.Rear of frame now needs 2wd leaf shackels bolted to frame with grade 8 bolts and lock nuts.Rear of 4x4 frame is wider than 2wd frame so if you want 6 lug reinstall your 4x4 rearend.If you want 5 lug. Cut straight mounts off 4x4 rear and weld on 5 lug rear.This is the cleanest way I have seen it done .No cutting and welding on frame and all # still match.Bring it to NC and I'll convert it for you for a small fee.
