are you going to change the roof yourself? if not, you might want to buy his cab. i checked the bodyshops in my area-about 30 miles from you- and they want 17 hours labor to change a roof and line up the doors, windows etc.. most of the shops around here are at least 100 bucks an hour  so i'd seriously consider an entire cab, and besides, once it's painted to match your truck, it's a weekend project to swap it around and the strength of the metal isn't compromised. you could call bill at vintage chevy over the hill from you in fremont(510)651-5874 if you decide to do the roof change or to see what he has in entire cabs. he aint cheap but usually has nice parts
