The "are you serious" question reminds me of the time someone asked a question about how to remove the shifter er, peg on a Harley. I replied lefty loosey, righty tighty. The guy came back all huffy but a few others replied that the answer was brief, but accurate. Funny...
Usually V8 engines don't have strange stuff like left hand threads because 8 cylinders makes things pretty smooth so there's no need. V-twins have them hiding in strange places and you start to wonder after the 6 foot "extension" doesn't help...
