i think 2" is the most lift i would do with just coils. any more than that and you start wearing out ball joints. the control arm angles get pretty out of whack.. i used to have 3" lift coils with ball joint spacers and it was a harsh ride. it got better when i got the new a arms. if i would do it again i would use a "kit" similar to what porterbuilt has.
