Thanks for the info. I'll post some pictures on Monday when I get back to work.
I'm guessing that the wood that is in the bed now is not original. It is pine and weathered some, but no where near as bad as something that would have been original. It really doesn't matter as I plan on replacing it with oak. Any advice on how to treat the new wood to make it last as long as possible?
