I hung around on the 47-59 board awhile, and now I'm here too.
I've had many a trucks.
I just picked up a 63 Suburban, and I'm looking for the best parts suppliers. I need a nice hood, front fenders, and maybe doors.
Are the suburban doors the same as the trucks? What years are the same?
I'd rather buy nice og parts versus repop...but, whatever gets it going.
It's got a 302-6 and a 3spd, but I'm putting a 350/350 combo so it's easier for the wife to drive.
It also has real nice bench seats, but I'm changing those too. So if anyone near NE Ohio needs nice og seats.
I'm going with a notch and air ride also. I like my stuff low. Just my way.
Anyway, that's me, and here are some of my previous rides. The last being the bare steel 53 suburban. We spent 8 months, and alot of money building it, then drove it for 6 weeks and 1000 miles and sold it
