I have seen a 72 CheyenneSuper 4x4 sell for over 30 grand restored.I personaly own one "Big Blue" that is a loaded rust free California truck.I have had many serious offers for mine obove 10 grand and it needs fresh paint and carpet.If you are mechanically inclined and can do some of the repairs yourself trucks in this condition can be a good deal.If not an you have to pay for someone eleses labor it can get expensive.Mine is like money in the bank to me .I can make one phone call and sell it in less than 24hrs for more than I have invested.Standing offer from collector.It has been a good investment for me and I get to drive my investment.
