You are absolutely correct about the cancerous Blazers in Utah. I made the mistake of flying out to American Fork to look at a 72 Jimmy years ago. The exterior looked beautiful. Gloss black, three coats of clear. The floor and body mounts were rotted away though. Rocker boxes were removed "to allow the rocker panels to drain."
Good luck with your Blazer. Looks like a real clean canvas to work with.
BTW- Hey guys, what does ochre mean? I have seen it written a few times in the Blazer forum.
