you live in the northeast where i live i buy trucks like that all day long for $300 and less. if you look for my thread on the 82 youll see my $300 truck and the only reason i paid that was for the carb and manifold ( edelbrock)
alot depends on whats in the truck and its other conditions ie motor and trans and interior. these trucks are notorious for rot in the rockers and cab corners. Pics would help alot here tho
If youre really stuck on the truck id say offer no more than four and work up to five but i think youre way overpaying unless the truck was last owned by elvis or was autographed by the pope or something
PS we have a vendor or two one here and one in particular ive dealt with who has excellent replacement parts at a very fair price and if your order is big enough it may pay to drive into NJ and pick it all up
on eidt if you put a later model front clip on it you need to change the cowl and the wiper arm assembly so it all fits
