Reumster, I will tell you what I have been told about rear disc brakes as I wanted to install a kit on my truck at one time. I the folks at Chevy Duty, Early Classics and my local 67-72 collector guy all tell me that the rear disc on 2wd c10's was not the way to go. It seems that even with different proportioning valves they could never get the brakes to work correctly. The would either lock up or put all the load on the front brakes. The guys at Early Classic strongly recommended not doing it. I was bummed! I know Mudder and a couple of guys have disc on their 4bys with no trouble. So, if you are doing this on a 4wd that would probably work. Just the .02 I have heard and I don't want to rain on your parade. If you do go ahead and do the switch let me know how it turns out.
