All of the factory tachs I've ever seen were marked on the back as to which terminal was for what. Look closely and I'll bet yours is too. One goes to the tach terminal on your distributor, one goes to a 12 volt source (a source that is on when you turn your ignition switch forward so that there won't be power going to the tach when the engine isn't running), and a ground. The original factory harness would be nice to have, but isn't a required part of a swap. The tach harness is independant of the harness for the rest of the gauges and is easily fabricated with a little bit of wire and some terminals.
