On my truck when I come to a stop at night the lights dime a lot and there is a small flicketring going on with them, at idle, once up graded you can go with an internal, regulator, and bigger, alternator, should stop all of this, some guy I have read on here is so bad that the ingnition stumbles a little due to the problem.
