I had the same issue in my C10... There was a lot of back and forth movement in the steering wheel and it was a real chore to keep it driving in a straight line. At that point, I had replaced the entire front end with the exception of the steering box.

This past year I completely rebuilt the truck and replaced the steering box. I also replaced the factory style steering shaft and rag joint with Borgeson steering components and it is like driving a new truck.
