Not sure if these pics will still help you or not. These are pics of the heater in my '66 Suburban which has the deluxe heater. This shows where the cable from the 'HEAT' lever goes. Since you have a '60 that cable would hook up differently on the original style heater, but with the newer style heater this is how it should hook up.
