I've looked into Porterbuilt stuff, and it looks great. The front X-member is part of the problem, but like you said there are fixes for that. Another part of the problem is that there is a big X that goes through the rear part of the frame (or so i've been told. I haven't been under my truck in a while). The later year frames don't have this. Most rear suspension parts, trailing arm xmembers, etc are marketed for 63+. I'm trying to plan ahead so i don't do alot of work and then have to back track or have to do alot of fabrication.
On a side note, i saw a posting under chassis pics that showed what looked to be a porterbuilt frame, not just dropmember. Any info on this??
