AceX said it best. You don't know what you like till you've gone to a stereo shop and actually listened to the speakers. A 2-way speaker will sound different from a 3-way speaker. A $100 speaker does sounds different and doesn't have as good of materials as a $200 speaker. But Pioneer is a decent brand for stereo equipment.
