In my shop I have at one time or another built all three. Rust is going to be determined by where the truck has lived. One exception is the 73-77 chevy trucks which had impurities in the steel. Northern trucks have salty roads, south has humidity, both big factors. Dry climate trucks and or stored are always the best start for a good truck. Jerry
