Yeah that part is what seems odd too, it'd add strength but weight too. If yer truck had CF parts that would be one VERY light vehicle and very strong. makes me wonder why the auto folks dont use it for nothing...

Perhaps cuz it's so rigid it wont take a hit well and will jar peeps too badly. dunno just a thought.
